Why is there so much talk about saving our rain forests? Eco Company visits an indoor rain forest at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park to find out why rain forests are so important to the delicate balance of our world-wide eco system. The creatures and the facts are both pretty stunning.

Then Brendan makes a trip to to the Solar Living Institute in Northern California. There he finds a sustainable living community that grows their own organic foods…and some chickens, builds their own buildings out of cob, has their own bio-diesel station and powers everything with solar energy. It's a self-contained sustainable community. They were building a new structure so Brendan got into the act mixing cob the old fashioned way…with his feet.

It's back to San Francisco where Adam discover a new use for used cooking oil. Who would have known restaurants would be a source for biodiesel fuels. Adam went to the source to find out more.

Finally, another kind of self-contained community...at least it is when the team are in town. We paid a visit to home of the World Champion San Francisco Giants and learned they are one of the greenest teams in sports. It's a Green Team commitment...from the concession stands, to watering the field, to recycling and even transportation to the park! Jordan gets the inside scoop on what they are doing and how they are doing it.
