This week Eco Company is all about alternative energies and alternative fuels. First up Adam goes looking for cleanest, most environmentally-friendly car of the future. In Sacramento, CA, he finds the California Fuel Cell Partnership, a group of car manufacturers who have come together to create just that. After 10 years of developing Fuel Cell cars that run on hydrogen, the cars are a reality. Adam gets to take one for a test drive. Take a look and see what you might be driving in 8-10 years.

Then Jordan visits a company developing methods of making cooking oil, motor oil, biodiesel fuel and regular gas for our cars from Algae...yes ALGAE! Could this be the fuel of the future?

Speaking of the future, Jessica got a large dose of it when she visited Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA. There, in what they call the National Ignition Facility, they are building the world's largest laser...actually 192 lasers that multiply and combine into a very powerful laser that creates nuclear fusion to reproduce the same kind of energy process that happens on the sun and stars. It's 100% clean energy and produces no reactive waste. Could it be a primary source of energy around the world in the future? This story has a big WOW factor!

Then Brendan travels to the University of California at Davis to visit a wind energy lab. There researchers and students work to improve the efficiency of wind turbines. They study how wind travels over the blades in a high speed wind tunnel. Wind...we know that will be around forever!
