What happens when an avid mountain biker wants to help the environment AND do something for inner city kids? She creates a non-profit called Trips For Kids and succeeds beyond her dreams. In the first part of our 2-part story, Josh learns how used bikes make it all possible. In the second part of our story, Founder Marilyn Price talks about Trips For Kids, The Re-Cyclery Thrift Shop and the Earn-A-Bike program. And Josh tags along with Trips For Kids on a ride through a National Park...an experience he won't soon forget.

When professional surfer Kyle Thiermann sees an environmental issue at home or around the world, he wants to do something about it. That's why he created Surfing For Change! SFC is a website and, more importantly, a series of videos to help create environmental awareness with people in the surfing world...and everywhere! He's also a TEDx speaker and has been honored with a Brower Youth Award. Josh went to Santa Cruz to talk about surfing and the environment.

Then, Summer Camp?...what a great time, right?! In this story Jordan visits a summer camp at a unique location, complete with high school counselors. It's called Common Ground and you can find it in New Haven, Connecticut. It's an environmental camp in the Summer and a charter high school in the Fall. They're preparing environmental leaders of the future!
