We are all accustomed to seeing solar panels on roofs and commercial buildings and shading cars in parking lots. But you probably haven't seen mirrored solar panels that focus sunlight to generate heat that powers a large turbine? Well, we're going to show you. We traveled to the Mojave Desert to visit one of the world's largest concentrated solar power installations and it's quite a sight to see.

From the desert to the Sacramento River watershed to learn about the Nigiri Project...a story about sushi, fresh fish on rice, right! We'll not exactly. The Nigiri Project is a cooperative effort to help the endangered Chinook Salmon population by allowing salmon fry to grow in rice fields until they're big enough to make the journey out to sea. Jaden visited the rice field to see what it is all about.

Then to the San Francisco Bay Area and ZERO LITTER! Zip. Nada. Absolutely none. That's the goal of a group of teens who are part of Earth Team in Northern California. And why should we settle for anything less than zero? It makes sense...and these teens are tackling the problem with cell phones, pads and social media. It's not your parents litter drive!
