We meet some teens spending the day learning about raptors and their relationships with the environment and farmers! The day culminates with the teens building box homes for barn owls. It's all part of Center for Land-based Learning's FARMS Leadership Program. It's day like this one that make it all worthwhile.

We are surrounded by stuff! At work, at school, at home, everywhere!...products we buy and use everyday. All that stuff is made of chemicals, built from a molecule and made into a material. At the University of California at Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry they want to make sure all that stuff is safe for humans and for the environment. Miles gets an inside look at the Center to see what they are up to.

Pavan Raj Gowda is an amazing teen. He's had a passion for protecting the planet from a very early age. In the 2nd grade his short story, about how individuals and communities need to work to protect the planet, later became part of a children's book he published. He published 2 books when he was in the 6th grade. At 8 he founded Green Kids Now and at 10 he hosted the first Green Kids Conference. Athenna sits down with him to find out what is driving him to action!
