Eco Company visits Santa Cruz Island...the largest of the California Channel Islands! There are no towns on the island which is about the same size as Manhattan! We meet with a group of people trying to return the island to its original, and native condition.
The Santa Cruz Island summer interns help to set up hidden cameras in locations around the island to capture images of potential invasive species that are not desirable on the island. They get some pretty interesting videos!
These 7 high school students are spending 4 weeks of their summer on Santa Cruz Island island as part of an internship program. On this day we finds them hiking around the mountain looking for Santa Cruz Island Foxes! The fox is on the endangered spices list.
